A big thanks to all the officials and helpers for our first race meet of the year last weekend. We had a smaller than usual turn out due to the Nationals in Newcastle but we still had over 40 entries. With Peter away we would not have been able to make things happen if it wasn’t for the support and understanding of all the karters and families in attendance, A big thank you goes out to Shane Scotney and Nick White for helping check out our scales that decided to go on strike due to the heat! Also a big thanks to Steve Lamb for organising replacement scales for the race. To all those who helped get the track ready before the weekend, we also say thank you! Unfortunately with the heat against us we didn’t get to complete the weekend the way we would have hoped but once again we really appreciate the support and understanding showed by all. Be sure to check out the photos in our Gallery that were sent in by Lee-Anne Maker-Evans. Also thanks to Mike and Lachie from The_Recoil for providing the wading pool for kids and adults to cool down in! Looking forward to seeing you all at our next meet on the 12th March, hopefully with some cooler weather next time!
